  • 01. Partner Relationship Manager - ISO Team

    The ISO Team at Mulligan works with our nationwide network of Independent Sales Organizations, commercial loan brokers, and other finance professionals (“Partners”) in order to secure capital for their clients. We assist our Partners by offering fast and fair working capital solutions tailored to their specific needs.

    Our Partner Relationship Managers own a book of highly valuable Partner accounts and must be adept at solving complex problems, delivering outstanding service to our Partners and their mutual clients, and positioning Mulligan Funding’s working capital solutions as the most effective financing source for thousands of small businesses nationwide.

    A Partner Relationship Manager of the ISO Team is a mid-level management position and is best suited to candidates seeking a leadership position that offers unequaled experience and an opportunity for both personal and business growth.

    Day-to-day responsibilities:

    ● Fund, at or above quota, Mulligan Funding’s small business loans sourced from your assigned book of Partner accounts
    ● Work with a dedicated, and growing, number of Partners to ensure their clients are approved and funded with Mulligan financing
    ● Communicate approvals, declines, and requests for additional information to our Partner team
    ● Work extremely closely with assigned Partner accounts to increase submission, approval, and closing volumes through dedicated training and coaching of these accounts
    ● Persistently dial the phone, send emails, and use other communication methods to generate applications, enrich Partner relationships, and help your Partner accounts close new business
    ● Work in conjunction with our Underwriting team to communicate client and Partner needs and desires

    Skills & qualifications:

    ● Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required
    ● 1-3+ years working in a merchant cash advance or commercial finance-related industry in a sales or business development capacity
    ● Ability to advance and close deals using multiple communication channels
    ● Ability to quickly diagnose client suitability for Mulligan Funding by reviewing bank statements, credit reports, and other associated financials
    ● A strong aptitude for problem-solving: every day you will encounter multiple situations you haven’t seen before and will need to tackle these challenges head-on
    ● A robust proficiency in multi-tasking, juggling multiple deals at various stages in the sales pipeline – this is a BUSY position!
    ● Familiarity with closing requirements for closing commercial finance transactions
    ● High-energy is an absolute must!
    ● Salesforce experience preferred

    Core responsibilities:

    ● Work under the guidance of Head of Analytics
    ● Identify relevant data sources and data sets to deliver insights and analysis for business decision-making
    ● Enhance the data collection process; cleanse and verify data
    ● Research, devise, test, and implement innovative statistical models and experiments, to solve a variety of business problems
    ● Work closely with analytics and technology teams to deploy models in production
    ● Communicate analytics solutions to parties across the business in the form of presentations and other materials
    ● Solve analytics and data science problems from beginning to end
    ● Own the accuracy and precision of analysis

    Required qualifications:

    ● B.A. or B.S. in statistics, applied mathematics, economics, or related discipline
    ● 2-5 years of experience in data science in fintech, banking, or related field
    ● Fluency with statistical modeling and machine learning methods
    ● Fluency with SQL and Python
    ● Proficiency with descriptive data analysis and presentation
    ● Proficiency with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
    ● Experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint

  • 03. Lead Generation Marketing Program Manager

    The Lead Generation Marketing Program Manager is responsible for supporting the strategies related to lead generation of the Marketing Program. This role requires heavy program and project management, effective cross-functional support and communication, and ongoing reporting to senior teams.

    Key functional areas of responsibility:

    ● Detailed and effective program management for all defined marketing initiatives related to lead generation. Including but not limited to direct mail, paid social media ads, and Google AdWords.
    ● Project manage paid media campaign execution with cross-functional teams and external vendors, including development of project timelines and management of project tasks to ensure timely launch and on-going optimizations.
    ● Brief development for all campaign programs to ensure goals are clearly defined and measured appropriately.
    ● Analyze campaign data to provide impactful insights and make recommendations on campaign optimizations and future marketing strategies.
    ● Track spend and KPIs to ensure campaigns and projects stay on budget and hit forecasted targets. Coordinate with senior team for necessary adjustments to accommodate missed targets.
    ● Responsible for effective setup and tracking of campaigns to assess and optimize campaign performance.
    ● Including landing page development, URL campaign tracking, and creative management. Makes, presents and defends recommendations to senior team.
    ● Perform website updates via WordPress and coordinate with development team for troubleshooting.
    ● Perform impactful competitive analyses across marketing channels to inform on campaign and site optimizations and report on insightful observations and recommendations.
    ● Manage lead-generation vendor partnerships, accommodating ongoing communications and identifying opportunities to improve partner performance.

    Professional competencies:

    ● Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced and deadline-driven atmosphere.
    ● Proactive and independent; able to self-start and see projects through to completion with minimal supervision.
    ● Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points into reporting for senior Marketing team.
    ● Effective communication is core to being effective in this role.
    ● Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills.
    ● Strong aptitude for thinking creatively and strategically and to identify and resolve problems with productive solutions.

    Professional skills and qualifications:

    ● 3-4 years of experience managing lead-generation marketing campaigns.
    ● 5-6 years of digital marketing experience
    ● Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools, and ability to convert the data from these tools into informative reports.
    ● Experience with project management programs or ability to demonstrate practical project management experience a must.
    ● Knowledge of PPC programs and optimizing data gathered from both organic and paid sources.
    ● Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments.
    ● Experience with Salesforce a plus.
    ● Experience driving lead acquisition for B2B.
    ● Agency experience a plus.
    ● BS/BA degree required.

    ● Coach, mentor, and assist in the training and development of sales professionals across all of Mulligan Funding’s different sales channels.
    ● Manage a team of highly-motivated sales professionals, including:
    – Formulating appropriate compensation plans that motivate members of the sales organization at every level and in every department
    – Identifying, fostering, and enabling leaders within the sales organization, and holding those leaders accountable for the performance of those for whom they’re responsible
    ● Formulate and structure the content and cadence of regular training and on-going skills improvement for members of the sales organization at all levels; and oversee the effective implementation of that training;
    ● Establish KPI’s and reports by which the performance of all members of the sales organization can best be measured; and use those KPI’s and reports to formulate performance goals and standards, continually assess progress and performance against those goals and standards, and communicate results and expectations to members of the sales organization regularly; and
    ● Meet or exceed an assigned sales quota for the sales organization as a whole, and for each of its constituent parts.

    Skills and qualifications:

    ● Ascending career in selling a variety of funding solutions to SME clients across the country in the millions of dollars;
    ● Demonstrated leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional departments to expand Mulligan Funding’s business in 2021;
    ● Strong people skills, effective in establishing, maintaining, and continually improving relationships with both clients, members of the sales organization, and other departments within the business;
    ● Demonstrated track record of highly effective selling skills, with exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities, all deployed within a professional, team-oriented environment;
    ● A history of meeting or exceeding an assigned sales quota;
    ● An effective working knowledge of basic financial analysis, including reviewing bank statements, credit reports, and other associated financial data;
