  • 01. Director of Quality Engineering

    Mulligan Funding is a leading provider of working capital helping businesses across the country get access to the funds they need to successfully compete, grow and thrive. With over $450M in funding to thousands of businesses throughout the country, Mulligan Funding is entering a new stage of significant growth.

    As a senior member of the technology organization, the Director of Quality Engineering is responsible for shaping the QA practices, systems, and team to ensure Mulligan Funding delivers high-quality internal and external-facing applications.

    Key areas of responsibility:

    ● Implement best practices for building in quality from early phases of development.
    ● Define strategic vision, organizational business alignment and implementation of quality initiatives needed for the organization.
    ● Oversee all aspects of quality engineering, including establishing program metrics, applying best practices, and developing processes to ensure quality goals are met.
    ● Propose and implement appropriate quality practices and environment.
    ● Apply proactive, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, and resolving quality issues.
    ● Partner with Analytics in monitoring production system data to identify and resolve issues impacting data quality and integrity, and use that data to improve testing practices.
    ● Drive root cause analysis including corrective and preventive action plans with employees.
    ● Build, manage, and mentor the quality team, aligning headcount and skill sets with the needs of the business.
    ● Create and/or approve test plans as well as testing timelines and ensure timelines are met.
    ● Evaluate and improve existing automation strategy and implementation.
    ● Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all assigned testing project deliverables. Identify risks and issues, and take appropriate steps to mitigate and escalate as necessary.
    ● Serve as Subject Matter Expert during internal and external audits as it relates to the company’s quality engineering processes, practices and procedures.

    Required skills & qualifications:

    ● Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Science discipline, or equivalent experience.
    ● At least 10 years of overall experience in Quality Assurance/Engineering roles with a minimum of 5 year in a management position.
    ● 5 years’ experience with automation of functional testing with different frameworks.
    ● 2 years’ experience with non-functional automation testing.
    ● Familiarity with Agile software development life cycle and types of testing: functional (regression, acceptance testing, smoke) and non-functional (stress, load, reliability, security, etc.)
    ● Strong understanding of and experience working within an Agile software development process.
    ● Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
    ● Strong analytical skills, problem-solving techniques, and statistical application experience.
    ● Excellent time and project management skills.
    ● Self-motivation, ability to work well independently and with others.

  • 02. Business Analyst

    Mulligan Funding is a leading provider of working capital helping businesses across the country get access to the funds they need to successfully compete, grow and thrive. With over $450M in funding to thousands of businesses throughout the country, Mulligan Funding is entering a new stage of significant growth.

    In the Business Analyst role you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to dig deep into existing processes, systems, and data, with the goal of shaping solutions that improve operational efficiency, consistency, and quality. A successful Business Analyst is intellectually curious, analytically rigorous, possesses an exceptional attention to detail, and has outstanding interpersonal skills.

    Key areas of responsibility:

    • Work with end users and UX team to gather, understand, and document complex business requirements and translate them into system features/enhancements.
    • Work collaboratively with the development team to establish detailed, user story-level requirements that ensure clarity on what needs to be built.
    • Participate and drive key meetings with end users and stakeholders, including requirement gathering, system/feature demos, user acceptance testing, and end user training.
    • Build, validate and maintain documentation artifacts that describe business processes, business area context, and system requirements.
    • Support the development and execution of the testing plan with the QA team.
    • Assist in triaging production issues and develop solutions designed to minimize future regressions.
    • Analyze ongoing internal system performance against operational goals and proactively identify opportunities to automate and/or improve other business processes and functions.

    Required skills & qualifications:

    • 3-4 years progressive experience in business or system analyst roles
    • Hands-on experience configuring/customizing Salesforce
    • Demonstrated ability to drive insights and recommendations from data
    • Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) skills, and interpersonal skills
    • Drive and desire to learn and grow both technical and functional skill sets
    • Able to produce workflows using Lucidchart or similar visual diagramming tools.
    • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple complex projects, working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
    • Experience soliciting, gathering, and analyzing user input and requirements
    • Experience documenting user stories and creating to-be process flow diagrams
