    Responsibilities:
    • Maintain and grow a multi-million-dollar book of business
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients
    • Renew existing clients by running all the way through the sales process (Application to close)
    • Develop relationships with Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs)
    • Successfully negotiate terms with both direct clients and ISO Partners
    • Hit monthly and quarterly sales goals
    • Consult clients with financial recommendations
    • Effectively engage and communicate with client-related issues in real-time

  • 02. Business Analyst

    In the Business Analyst role you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to dig deep into existing processes, systems, and data, with the goal of shaping solutions that improve operational efficiency, consistency, and quality. A successful Business Analyst is intellectually curious, analytically rigorous, possesses an exceptional attention to detail, and has outstanding interpersonal skills.

    Responsibilities:
    • Work with end-users and UX team to gather, understand, and document complex business requirements and translate them into system features/enhancements.
    • Work collaboratively with the development team to establish detailed, user story-level requirements that ensure clarity on what needs to be built.
    • Participate and drive key meetings with end-users and stakeholders, including requirement gathering, system/feature demos, user acceptance testing, and end-user training.
    • Build, validate and maintain documentation artifacts that describe business processes, business area context, and system requirements.
    • Support the development and execution of the testing plan with the QA team.
    • Assist in triaging production issues and develop solutions designed to minimize future regressions.
    • Analyze ongoing internal system performance against operational goals and proactively identify opportunities to automate and/or improve other business processes and functions.
    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • 3-4 years progressive experience in business or system analyst roles
    • Demonstrated ability to drive insights and recommendations from data
    • Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) skills, and interpersonal skills
    • Drive and desire to learn and grow both technical and functional skill sets
    • Able to produce workflows using Lucidchart or similar visual diagramming tools.
    • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple complex projects, working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
    • Experience soliciting, gathering, and analyzing user input and requirements
    • Experience documenting user stories and creating to-be process flow diagrams

    Bonus points for candidates with hands-on experience configuring/customizing Salesforce or similar CRM products.

In this role, you will assist your team in acting as a critical link between our partners and our underwriters to ensure our clients’ circumstances and needs are fully understood, and everything necessary is in place to close the deal. You will need to be professional, knowledgeable and highly focused on the needs and circumstances of every potential client.   • 04. Senior Credit Analyst

    The team of credit analysts at Mulligan are responsible for assessing the financial condition of small business loan applicants and approving or declining loans. The credit analysts evaluate financial statements to assess cash flow and liquidity in order to determine the optimal loan structure for each of our clients. Unlike working at a bank, this is an extremely fast-paced role that will involve autonomy and decision-making authority. Credit analysts must be adept at multitasking, critical thinking, and extemporaneous decision-making. Depending on the level of experience and how well the selected candidate performs, this role may quickly develop into a supervisor/management role as our credit team is rapidly growing.

    Day-to-day Responsbilities:
    • Review & spread financial statements and conduct in-depth analysis of business bank statements to determine credit worthiness of small businesses
    • Analyze personal & business credit reports
    • Assess the impact of the guarantor financial position on the company’s ability to service debt
    • Interview the owners/managers of business applicants about company operations, cash flow, and proposed use of funds in order to determine creditworthiness
    • Conduct ad hoc research on businesses and industries to protect against fraud
    • Sizing, structuring, and pricing loans for approved clients
    • Complete credit memos for large loan approvals and present proposals to credit committee
    What You’ll Need:
    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar discipline. Minimum GPA of 3.0.
    • Minimum 2 years experience in commercial (C&I preferred) or small business lending
    • A strong grasp of accounting principles and the ability to dissect financial statements
    • Experience spreading and analyzing complete corporate tax returns, including balance sheets
    • Knowledgeable about the small business lending landscape with insights into various industry risk segments
    • Adept in all Microsoft Office Products and the ability to quickly pick up new programs and CRM’s
    • Ability to make complex decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment
    Preferred Skills:
    • Underwriting experience at a fast-paced, nonbank, direct small business lender
    • Ability to calculate global debt service coverage ratios that incorporate guarantor and affiliate cash flow
    • Prior experience training and managing credit analysts
    • Strong grasp of various fraud identification strategies and current fraud tactics in the industry
    • Exposure to various credit and/or fraud risk models

    Duties:
    • Develop and manage data pipelines to efficiently retrieve and store transactional data.
    • Write reliable software to ingest, transform and distribute data into our internal applications.

    We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our close-knit Accounting and Finance team. If you have firm knowledge of accounting principles, are particularly strong with bank reconciliations, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this is an opportunity for you. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of two years of related work experience.

    Core Responsibilities:
    • Perform general A/R, A/P, and GL related functions.
    • Perform detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
    • Follow our company’s established accounting processes.
    • Support Accounts Payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entry.
